This place is around the corner from my house and I can say I am obsessed with the fried chicken meal as well as the oxtail meal. It's also a guilty pleasure of mine to get the ackee and saltfish in the morning before I go to work or if I'm staying in on the weekends. So grateful to have delicious food like this in the neighborhood.

I've only ordered from here twice before via food delivery app, but both times have been pleasant! My favorite thing so far is the cornbread. It's best warm, of course, but even after being in the fridge, it was still VERY flavorful!

I mess with Iries, only been there one time but they did me right. I got the jerk chicken over peas & rice and it was real fire, chicken was cooked proper and had nice char too it Off point about the meal was the side of plantains I ordered, unfortunately they weren't super hit. Definitely on the dry side, and lacked that sweet tang we all need. On the other hand the mac & cheese hit something crucial, very opposite of the plantains the mac was ooey and gooey with the right touch of ingredients placed in. Solid spot. 7.8/10

This is my comfort food if I want to relax. The oxtail and curry goat are delicious. The first 3 orders from here were great albeit a little salty (but I love salt). The most recent order I placed (for oxtail again) was tough. I was chewing for days. It was also extra extra salty. I didn't finish the leftovers because I was pretty displeased with that meal, but 3/4 meals being wonderful makes it okay for them to have an off day. I'll patronise this restaurant again soon.

Tried out Irie per a friend's recommendation. It wasn't JAM, but JAM-adjacent which I still enjoyed. Their lunch special runs pretty late so I got a plate, and the serving was generous AF. Lots of jerk chicken, an adequate amount of plantain and rice & peas. $10 very well spent, as someone who lives outside of NY it would have easily ran me $20+. Had a Veggy patty as well which was tasty. Everything was well cooked, I inhaled it and fell into a food coma afterwards. Can't beat that. Only thing that could have made it better is if everything was made fresh to order.
